Sigríður Björk Guðjónsdóttir

Sigríður Björk Guðjónsdóttir is a law school graduate, policeman and currently the National Chief of Police. She has worked in law enforcement and civil defense from 2002. From 2014 to 2020 she was the Chief of Police in Reykjavik, prior to that, between 2009 and 2014 as Chief of Police in the Reykjanes peninsula region. Assistant National Chief of Police from 2007 to 2008 and from 2002 to 2006 as the Magistrate of Isafjordur.
