Within ICE _ SAR you find people from all over the country, ready to react to events and accidents to assist the Police or Civil Protection. These events can have a serious effect on the mental health of the volounteer, although well trained is still human. Those leading the associaton care deeply for the members and their mental health in the work for their team and the association as a whole and that is why procecures and courses were built for teams and their members to deal with serious incidents. The lecture will cover the policy that the board of ICE-SAR put in place about four years ago and the staff of ICE-SAR have diligently worked towards implementing, processes, course material and co-operation with psychology clinics. The lecture will cover the course Peer support thought at the Rescue Academy, course material on de-briefing and the processes accepted by the board and the executive director and in use.
